On January 5, 2023 FLSP lost a great supporter and friend. Kevin Swygert joined the staff of the Ludington State Park (LSP) in 1987. Five years later FLSP was established. Over the last 30 years, there was no project or program that FLSP accomplished that did not somehow have Kevin's support.

The Lantern-Lit events were one of Kevin's responsibilities. Kevin put the lanterns out, maintained them and put them away each season.

The FLSP Board extends its condolences to Kevin's family and also the LSP staff that lost a dear colleague and friend. The 2023 Lantern-Lit events are being held in Kevin's memory. Join us this Saturday, January 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. for the next event.
