If you wish to use the track chair please review the overview video and familiarize yourself with the usage guidelines by clicking here. These guidelines will be reviewed with you prior to your use of the track chair. |
The track chairs are available for use free of charge seven days a week but must be reserved. To reserve one of the track chairs, please contact Ludington State Park office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at (231) 843-2423 extension 0. When you have a confirmed reservation you will gain access to the chair at the rear of the Ludington State Park office, located past the entrance booth. If you are not familiar with the park layout, when entering the park you may ask for directions to where you can access the track chair. After being oriented on the functioning of the track chair and safety guidelines you will be required to sign a waiver form. A copy of the waiver is available for review in advance by clicking here. FLSP would like to thank the Community Foundation for Mason County which provided a grant towards the purchase of the first track chair and the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce who has designated FLSP as the charity partner for the annual Brrrewfest event. These two organizations, along with a number of other donors including Dick and Dee Falk, made the acquisition of the first track chair possible. As of December 29, 2022 FLSP completed fundraising for a second track chair that was delivered to the Park in April. To read a press release concerning the track chair click here.
