Dedicated to the support of the Ludington State Park!

Friends of Ludington State Park (FLSP) donated a Action Track Chair to the Ludington State Park (LSP) and are working collaboratively with the Park Staff to coordinate its use.

You may click here to watch an overview video that explains how to reserve and use the LSP Track Chair.

If you wish to use the track chair please review the overview video and familiarize yourself with the usage guidelines by clicking here. These guidelines will be reviewed with you prior to your use of the track chair.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE TRACK CHAIR SEASON ENDED IN NOVEMBER.  PLEASE CHECK OUT THE SPRING SCHEDULE IN MAY.

The track chair is available by making an online reservation at least 24 hours in advance. When you have a confirmed reservation you will gain access to the chair at the rear of the Ludington State Park office, located past the entrance booth. If you are not familiar with the park layout, when entering the park you may ask for directions to where you can access the track chair.

After being oriented on the functioning of the track chair and safety guidelines you will be required to sign a waiver form. A copy of the waiver is available for review in advance by clicking here.

After using the track chair you will be asked to complete a brief survey.

FLSP would like to thank the Community Foundation for Mason County which provided a grant towards the purchase of the first track chair and the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce who has designated FLSP as the charity partner for the annual Brrrewfest event. These two organizations, along with a number of other donors including Dick and Dee Falk, made the acquisition of the first track chair possible. As of December 29, 2022 FLSP has completed fundraising for a second track chair that should be available in the summer of 2023.
