The Skegemog Raptor Center in Traverse City, MI provides a safe place for sick and injured raptors to receive care. This past fall the Skegemog Raptor Center provided care to a Great Horned Owl that was recovered by the City of Ludington Police after the owl had an unfortunate encounter with the grill of an automobile.  

James Manely, Executive Director of the Skegemog Raptor Center will provide an overview of the center and their programing, highlighting the return of the Great Horned Owl to the wild on November 18 at the Ludington State Park.
