Manistee singer-songwriter and composer Nick Viene performs an eclectic mix of blues, country, jazz, and original music. Think Johnny Cash meets James Taylor meets Alan Menken. Nick grew up playing rock and blues before he started singing, pivoting to acoustic music while maintaining an electric flair. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music and completed a Master of Music in Classical Composition at Belmont University. Collaborating with other musicians in jam sessions, private lessons, and an a cappella groups provided other great educational moments.
