FLSP continues to seek new and innovative ways to better serve those that enjoy the Ludington State Park. All of our work would not be possible without our members, volunteers, and donors.
We are interested in your feedback on our current and future programming and volunteer opportunities. If you have not done so, please take a few minutes to complete a survey and share your ideas.
We thank you in advance for your input!

The Happy Little Trees 5K is a fundraiser for the Michigan DNR. Proceeds support tree planting and forest protection efforts – such as invasive plant and forest pest management and early detection surveys – in Michigan state parks and recreation areas. In the past, the LSP has planted trees funded through this effort.
FLSP is partnering with Ludington Run Club to host an in person Happy Little Trees 5K fun run / walk / roll on April 22. If you are joining us in person, you need to register at Happy Little Trees 5K and on the FLSP website so we will know how many to expect at the LSP. For more information click here.

While there was only enough snow to use the snowshoes for one of the Lantern Lit Events this year they were all very well attended. The February 18 event, in conjunction with the Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative Book Walk, was the most attended event since the Lantern Lit events started. FLSP would like to thank the volunteers that helped with the events this year with special thanks to Bob Sasin and Linda and Rocky Burns, who along with LSP staff, took down, cleaned and have stored all the lanterns until next year.

In addition to adding the second track chair, FLSP is seeking funds to replace two of the beach wheelchairs and to add a walkway on the Hamlin Beach like the walkway that FLSP funded ten years ago on the Lake MI beach. All donations towards these projects, which total $30,500, are greatly appreciated. You can donate by clicking here.
