Lantern Lit Events

Join us for a Lantern Lit event on the following Saturdays -- February 3 and 17, and March 2. The February 17 event will include a book walk sponsored by the Great Start Collaborative of the West Shore Educational Service District, featuring the book "Star in the Jar". Families with young children get a free copy of the featured book while supplies last.

Brrrewfest - 2024

We had great weather for Brrrewfest 2024 held on January 27. FLSP would like to thank the Chamber Alliance of Mason County for their partnership and the close to 100 volunteers that helped to make the event possible. This spring the Chamber and FLSP will report the total raised. Again, thank you to all the volunteers as well as the 800+ individuals that purchased tickets for the event.

Winter Zoom Sessions

We have two Zoom sessions scheduled this winter. The first one features the Skegemog Raptor Center on Tuesday, February 27 at 7 p.m. The Skegemog Raptor Center rehabilitated the Great Horned Owl that was rescued by the City of Ludington Police this past fall.

On Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m., Jim Gallie, LSP Park Manager, will present a State of the State Park.

You may find out more information about the sessions and register via the events tab on the website

Membership Renewals

Thank you to all FLSP members that have renewed their membership for 2024. If you have not done so, please renew your membership today, and if you are not a member, consider joining by clicking here.

Guided Hikes

Monthly guided hikes are held the third Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. You can join in the fun and get some exercise by meeting the Hike Leaders at the Warming Shelter just off the main parking lot as you enter the Ludington State Park.

Adopt-a-Trail

There are still a few opportunities to Adopt-a-Trail in the Ludington State Park.  Check out the FLSP Adopt a Trail page that contains information on adopting an LSP trail and helping all of us enjoy it more. There are a total of 23 trails to adopt and the best part is it does not cost you anything beyond your time.
